THE simple rules you must follow are

1 pay your payment so it arrives 5 days before the monthly due date.

2 try to get a cashback card to earn money for charging.

3 Pay your bill in full every month and never pay interst.

4 IF you carry a balance, don't be afraid to get a 2nd card to transfer that balance at a low interest rate.

NOW if you follow these rules you may end up like me.

I have more than 5 credit cards.

I carry over 30k in long term balance transfers at 3.9% interest.

And I invest that money and make 10% so I make a profit on that 30k loan every year.

THE ONLY RULE I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH IS PAY THAT MINIMUM PAYMENT BEFORE THE DUE DATE.

USE AN ONLINE payment IF NECESSARY.

Simply have your bank set up free online payments in your account.

THEN simply set a reoccuring payment that will go out every month on the same day.

SET that payment to be 10-25 bucks higher then your minimum due.

REMEMBER YOU CAN ALWAYS SEND A EXTRA PAYMENT IF YOU PAID TOO LITTLE.

A final rule is to check your card the day after your auto pay goes out, to confirm receipt of payment.

IF you have money that comes in at odd times, simply ask your credit card company to reset your due date to accomodate your money inflow.

IF YOU ARE DILLIGENT YOU WILL NEVER GET HURT BY A CREDIT CARD.

A final thought, if you charge your normal bills that you pay cash with each month, and your card is a cashback card,you not only get paid to pay your bills you raise your credit score.
